What We Do

Every Door.
Every
Credential.
Controlled.

"We serve with urgency, deliver with precision, and perform with calm confidence."

— Core Values, Flagship Technologys

Access control is more than locking doors. Done right, it's a complete picture of who is in your building at any moment — with the ability to grant, restrict, or revoke access for any individual across any number of doors, floors, or sites, all from a single management interface.

Flagship Technologys designs and installs access control systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-tenant residential properties across Florida. From a single secured server room to a multi-building campus with hundreds of users, we build systems that scale to your needs and integrate with your existing security infrastructure.

We handle the full scope: hardware selection, door hardware installation, controller configuration, credential enrollment, software setup, and staff training. When we leave, your team knows exactly how to manage the system — and we're available to support you as your requirements evolve.

Breaking It Down

What the
Job Entails

01

Site Assessment & Access Mapping

We start by walking every entry point, restricted zone, and high-traffic area in your facility. We document door hardware compatibility, power availability, cable routing paths, and your user access hierarchy — producing a complete access map before any hardware is specified.

02

Credential System Selection

We specify the right credential type for your environment: proximity keycards for high-throughput offices, PIN pads for shared spaces, biometric fingerprint or facial readers for high-security zones, and mobile app credentials for modern, keyless operation. Hybrid systems combine multiple methods.

03

Controller & Hardware Installation

Access controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, door position sensors, and power supplies — all installed and wired correctly to door hardware. We handle wood, hollow metal, and glass door frames, as well as gates and turnstiles for perimeter control.

Software Setup & User Enrollment

Access management software configured with your access groups, time schedules, and permission levels. All users enrolled with their credentials. Administrators trained on adding, modifying, and revoking access — plus setting up visitor passes and temporary credentials for contractors.

05

Remote Management & Cloud Integration

Manage your entire access control system from a web browser or mobile app — lock or unlock any door remotely, add or remove users in real time, and monitor access events live. Cloud-based systems ensure your database is always backed up and accessible from multiple locations.

Alarm & Surveillance Integration

Access control systems work best as part of a layered security strategy. We integrate door readers with your alarm system to trigger alerts on forced entry or propped doors, and link access events to your surveillance cameras so every badge-in has a corresponding video clip for easy review.

How We Work

From First Call
to First Swipe

01
Quote & Scope

You submit a quote request. We follow up within 24 hours to understand your facility, door count, and access requirements.

02
Site Assessment

A certified technician walks your facility, documents every door and zone, and produces a detailed access map and hardware specification.

03
Installation

Our crew installs all hardware cleanly and correctly — controllers, readers, locks, and wiring — coordinating with your schedule to minimize disruption.

04
Configuration & Testing

Every door tested for proper lock/unlock operation, request-to-exit function, and access level enforcement before we declare the job complete.

05
Handoff & Support

Full admin training on user management, reporting, and remote access. Ongoing support as your team or facility requirements change.

What You Get

Everything Included,
Nothing Left Out

Multi-Credential Options

Proximity cards, key fobs, PIN codes, biometric fingerprint/face readers, and smartphone Bluetooth — one system, multiple ways to authenticate.

Granular Access Scheduling

Define exactly which doors each user or group can access, and during which hours or days. Temporary credentials for visitors and contractors with auto-expiry.

Complete Audit Trail

Every access event logged with timestamp, user, and door. Exportable reports for compliance, incident investigation, or HR purposes.

Remote Lock / Unlock

Lock or unlock any door from your phone or computer — instantly. Let in a delivery person, lock down a floor, or release a door for maintenance without being on site.

Door Forced & Propped Alerts

Instant notifications if a door is forced open without a valid credential, or left propped open beyond a set time — keeping you aware of security exceptions in real time.

Scalable to Any Size

Start with 2 doors and expand to 200+ across multiple buildings or sites. Our systems grow with you — no rip-and-replace required.

Surveillance Integration

Link access events directly to camera footage so every badge-in has a corresponding video clip — making incident review fast and straightforward.

Ongoing Support

Available after installation for user changes, system expansions, firmware updates, and any hardware issues that arise over time.

Common Questions

What People
Usually Ask

Can I revoke access immediately if someone leaves?+
Yes — access is revoked instantly from the management software. The card or credential is deactivated within seconds and will no longer work at any door in your system. No physical lock changes required.
What happens if the network or power goes down?+
Access controllers store credentials locally and continue operating during network outages. Battery backup or UPS devices keep systems running during power interruptions. Fail-safe vs fail-secure lock behavior is configured based on your safety and security requirements per door.
Can the system work with our existing locks?+
In many cases, yes. We assess your existing door hardware during the site survey. Many standard door frames support electric strikes or magnetic locks with minimal modification. We'll tell you clearly if a door requires new hardware.
How do visitors or contractors get temporary access?+
Administrators can create temporary credentials with auto-expiry — by date, time range, or number of uses. Visitor management modules allow front desk staff to issue single-day badges that print on demand.
Can I see who accessed a door at a specific time?+
Every access event — granted or denied — is logged with the user, door, time, and credential used. You can search, filter, and export reports for any time period. If integrated with cameras, you can pull up the corresponding video clip with one click.
Can the system manage multiple locations?+
Yes. Multi-site systems allow you to manage access across multiple buildings or cities from a single management platform. Users can be granted access to specific doors at specific locations, and all events are visible in a unified dashboard.

Control Every
Door.

Tell us about your facility and we'll put together a detailed, no-pressure access control proposal — usually within 24 hours.
