What We Do

Layers of
Protection.
Zero
Gaps.

"We serve with urgency, deliver with precision, and perform with calm confidence."

— Core Values, Flagship Technologys

Effective security isn't a single device — it's a layered system that detects threats early, communicates alerts instantly, and gives response teams the information they need to act. An alarm panel alone isn't a security system. Motion sensors, glass break detectors, door contacts, perimeter beams, and a central monitoring station working together — that's a security system.

Flagship Technologys designs and installs commercial and residential security systems across Florida. We assess your specific threat profile, specify the right detection technology for each zone, and program your system to behave precisely as intended — minimizing false alarms while maximizing genuine threat response speed.

Every system we install is tied to a professional central monitoring station that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When an alarm triggers, trained operators verify the event and dispatch the appropriate emergency services within seconds — not minutes.

Breaking It Down

What the
Job Entails

01

Security Assessment & Zone Design

Every engagement starts with a thorough property walkthrough. We identify all entry points, high-risk zones, detection dead spots, and structural factors that affect sensor placement. The result is a zone map that covers every vulnerable area without creating false alarm conditions.

02

Alarm Panel & Control System

UL-listed control panels form the brain of your security system. We select the right panel for your zone count, specify cellular and broadband dual-path communication for monitoring redundancy, and configure every zone for the correct detection behavior — immediate alarm, delay, 24-hour, or supervisory.

Intrusion Detection Devices

The right sensor for every location: passive infrared (PIR) motion detectors for interior spaces, door and window contacts for perimeter entries, glass break detectors for glazed surfaces, dual-technology sensors for high-traffic environments that need false alarm immunity, and vibration detectors for vaults and safes.

Perimeter & Outdoor Detection

Protect the perimeter before threats reach your building. Outdoor PIR detectors, microwave barriers, fence-mounted vibration sensors, and active infrared beams create invisible detection lines around your property boundary. Solar-powered options are available for areas without infrastructure.

24/7 Central Station Monitoring

Every system we install is connected to a UL-listed central monitoring station. When an alarm triggers, operators are notified within seconds — they attempt to verify the event with you via call or video, then dispatch police, fire, or medical services as required. No monitoring gaps, no delays.

Smart App & Remote Control

Arm and disarm your system remotely, receive instant push notifications for any alarm event, view live sensor status, and manage user codes — all from your smartphone. Geo-fencing options auto-arm when you leave your property and can send reminders if you forget to arm at closing time.

How We Work

From First Call
to Armed & Ready

01
Quote & Scope

You submit a request. We follow up within 24 hours to discuss your property, risk concerns, and whether you need monitoring only or a full new system.

02
Risk Assessment

A certified technician walks your property, maps every zone and entry point, and produces a complete system design with sensor placement and panel specification.

03
Installation

Our crew installs every sensor, keypad, and device cleanly and correctly — running cables through walls and ceilings wherever possible to maintain a professional finish.

04
Programming & Testing

Every zone programmed, tested end-to-end, and verified with the central monitoring station before handoff. False alarm triggers identified and resolved before sign-off.

05
Handoff & Support

Full user training on arming, disarming, and code management. Monitoring account activated. Ongoing support for system changes, expansions, and service calls.

What You Get

Everything Included,
Nothing Left Out

UL-Listed Alarm Panel

Industry-standard control panels with cellular and broadband dual-path communication, battery backup, and capacity for future zone expansion.

Full Sensor Coverage

Motion detectors, door/window contacts, glass break sensors, smoke and CO detectors — every zone covered with the right technology for that environment.

24/7 Central Monitoring

UL-listed central station with trained operators on duty every hour of every day — verifying alarms and dispatching emergency services within seconds.

Smart Mobile Control

Arm, disarm, and monitor your system from any smartphone. Instant alerts for every event — alarm, tamper, low battery, or communication failure.

Perimeter Detection Options

Outdoor motion sensors, IR beams, and fence-mounted detectors that catch intruders before they reach your building — early warning that creates time to respond.

Panic & Duress Devices

Fixed panic buttons for reception desks, cash offices, and server rooms — plus personal duress fobs for staff in vulnerable positions. Silent and audible options.

Access & Surveillance Integration

Alarm zones linked to access control and cameras so a triggered sensor immediately pulls up the corresponding camera feed and access log for fast situational awareness.

Ongoing Support & Service

Annual system tests, sensor replacements, battery swaps, zone adjustments, and monitoring account management — we stay involved after the sale.

Common Questions

What People
Usually Ask

What happens when an alarm goes off?+
The central monitoring station is notified instantly. Operators attempt to verify the alarm — typically by calling your contact list. If they cannot confirm a false alarm, they dispatch the appropriate emergency services immediately. The entire process takes seconds, not minutes.
How do I reduce false alarms?+
False alarms are almost always a product of poor installation or incorrect zone programming. We use dual-technology sensors in high-traffic areas, program appropriate entry/exit delays, and test every zone before handoff. Proper user training on arming and code entry also eliminates the most common false alarm causes.
What if the power or internet goes out?+
Alarm panels include battery backup that maintains full operation for 4–24 hours during a power outage. Communication uses both cellular and broadband paths — if your internet goes down, the system switches to cellular automatically. Cutting your phone line or internet does not disable monitoring.
Can I arm and disarm remotely?+
Yes. Modern alarm systems with smart modules allow full remote control via a mobile app — arm, disarm, check status, manage user codes, and receive real-time alerts from anywhere in the world. You'll also get a notification if someone disarms the system, so you always know who's coming and going.
Can you take over monitoring for an existing system?+
Often yes. If your existing panel is compatible and in good working order, we can connect it to a new monitoring account without replacing the hardware. We assess the current system during a site visit and advise whether takeover or replacement makes more sense for your situation.
Do I need a permit for an alarm system?+
Most Florida municipalities require an alarm permit for monitored systems. We'll advise you on the requirements for your city and county during the installation process. Unpermitted systems can result in fines and delayed emergency response, so we ensure compliance from day one.
