What We Do

Strategic
Eyes on
Every
Angle.

"We serve with urgency, deliver with precision, and perform with calm confidence."

— Core Values, Flagship Technologys

A surveillance system isn't just cameras bolted to a wall. Done right, it's a strategic layer of intelligence woven through every corner of your property — one that works in daylight and complete darkness, indoors and out, actively deterring threats and passively documenting everything.

Flagship Technologys designs, installs, and maintains IP-based surveillance systems for residential, commercial, and enterprise clients across Florida. Every system starts with a detailed site survey and ends with you having clear, accessible footage from any device on the planet.

We don't do cookie-cutter packages. Your property has unique entry points, blind spots, lighting conditions, and threat profiles. Our designs account for all of it — and we stay long after installation to make sure everything keeps working perfectly.

Breaking It Down

What the
Job Entails

01

Site Survey & Coverage Mapping

Every engagement begins with a thorough walk of your property. We identify all entry and exit points, high-risk zones, lighting conditions, and existing infrastructure. From this we produce a full coverage map — showing exactly where every camera goes and why.

02

Camera Selection & System Design

Not every camera suits every job. We specify the right hardware for each location — fixed dome cameras for indoor coverage, PTZ units for wide-open spaces, bullet cameras for perimeter lines, fisheye lenses for corner-to-corner rooms, and license plate readers for vehicle access points.

NVR / DVR & Storage Architecture

Your footage needs a home. We size and configure Network Video Recorders with adequate storage for your retention requirements — whether that's 7 days of continuous recording or 90 days of motion-triggered clips. RAID redundancy and cloud backup are available for mission-critical deployments.

Professional Cable Runs & Mounting

Clean, concealed cable routing through walls, ceilings, conduit, and cable trays. Every camera is mounted at the optimal angle for its field of view, secured with weatherproof housing where needed, and tested for vibration and tampering resistance. No exposed cables, no compromise.

System Configuration & Integration

Every camera is configured for optimal image quality — resolution, frame rate, exposure, white balance, and compression. Motion detection zones are drawn precisely to eliminate false triggers. The NVR is set up with user accounts, recording schedules, and alert profiles. Where applicable, we integrate with your existing access control or alarm systems.

Remote Access & Mobile Setup

We configure remote viewing so you can pull up live and recorded footage from any smartphone, tablet, or browser — anywhere in the world. Push notifications alert you the moment motion is detected in any zone. Multi-user access with permission levels keeps your security in the right hands.

How We Work

From First Call
to Live Feed

01
Quote & Scope

You submit a quote request. We follow up within 24 hours to understand your property, goals, and budget — no pressure, just information.

02
Site Survey

A certified technician visits your property, walks every zone, and produces a detailed coverage map and hardware specification.

03
Installation Day

Our crew arrives on time, protects your space, runs cables cleanly, mounts every camera, and configures the full system in a single visit where possible.

04
Testing & QA

Every camera angle is verified, recording confirmed, motion zones tested, and remote access validated before we declare the job done.

05
Handoff & Support

Full walkthrough of your new system, mobile app configuration for your team, and ongoing support for any adjustments, expansions, or issues.

Common Questions

What People
Usually Ask

How many cameras do I need? +
This depends entirely on your property layout, the number of entry points, and your risk profile. A single-family home might need 4–8 cameras. A commercial building could need 20–60+. We determine the right count during our site survey — not before.
What's the difference between IP cameras and analog? +
IP cameras transmit digital video over your network and support higher resolutions (4K+), remote access, and AI analytics. Analog cameras use coaxial cable and are limited in resolution and flexibility. We primarily deploy IP systems — they're more capable, scalable, and future-proof.
Can I access footage from my phone? +
Yes — every system we install includes full remote access via a mobile app. You can view live feeds, play back recorded footage, and receive push notifications for motion events from anywhere in the world.
How long is footage stored? +
Storage duration depends on the number of cameras, recording resolution, and frame rate. We typically configure systems for 14–30 days of continuous recording, or 30–90 days of motion-triggered recording. Additional NVR storage or cloud archiving extends this further.
Do cameras work in the dark? +
Yes. Our cameras use infrared (IR) illuminators for traditional black-and-white night vision, or full-color night vision technology that uses low light to maintain color footage. We select the appropriate type based on the environment — parking lots, for example, often benefit from color night vision.
Can I add cameras later? +
Absolutely. We design all systems with scalability in mind — selecting NVRs with open channels and running spare cable runs where practical. Adding cameras later is a straightforward process, not a full reinstall.
